Liniker e os Caramelows Liniker Barros (lyric) Renata Essis (chorus) Eder Araujo (saxophone) Fernando Trz (keyboard) William Zaharanski (guitar) Rafael Barone (Bass) Péricles Zuanon (drums) Marja Lenski (percussion) Led by a transsexuel singer with knock out charisma, this is the soul sensation which has arrived from Brazil and which we haven't finished talking about. It is not for nothing that the group is called 'The Toffees'. Because they are soft, sweet, chewy, amusing, endearing. In less than three years , the Paulites have succeeded in exploding the YouTube audience assessment meters and conquered Brazil with their hybrid tropical soul which fits perfectly into the footsteps of a Tim Maia. Released in 2016, their first album 'Remonta' is a pure chef d'oeuvre of 'funzy', the style which they have created: a sort of languorous funk interspersed with explosions of hard rock. A cross-pollinated and contrasting groove just like their native Brazil. Recorded on April 6th 2018 athe Marbrerie, Montreuil, Banlieues bleues festival Réalisation, Stéphan Jourdain

Rymden Bugge Wesseltoft, piano Dan Berglund; double bass Magnus Ostrom, drums When the rhythmic section of the mythical Swedish jazz group played again for the first time in trio since the passing of Esbjörn Svensson, it produces Rymden (space in the French version) - logical for blokes who are into atmospheric sounds. Alongside them, one of the most exciting pianists of the Nordic jazz scene. Founder of the thrilling label Jazzland and pillar of cross-overs between impro and electro, Bugge Wesseltoft is very much an ideal playing partner. A 'young' trio filled with experience(s). Recording at the Tourcoing Jazz Festival on October 12, 2019 TV Director, Samuel Thiebaut

Roberto Negro, piano Emile Parisien, saxophone Michèle Rabbia, drums (Dadada) The pianist and composer Roberto Negro presents his new trio Dadada, with Emile Parisien and Michele Rabbia. With its nocturnal and fantasy themes with imperceptible fluctuations and a certain penchant for surprises, the trio's music is fascinating because of its play on timbres, mysterious tonalities and its use of subtle electronic effects. A miraculously inhabited saxophone.A beautifully detailed piano.A sensually choreographed drum set. When Negro leaves for an excursion without satelite beacons, the musique is filled with stars and poetry. Recorded on May 5, 2017 at the Epau Abbey, Europa Jazz Festival TV director, Josselin Carré

Lucky Peterson, tribute to Jimmy Smith Lucky Peterson (organ, lyric) Nicolas Fomer (trumpet) Kekyn Crapp (guitar) Ahmad Compaoré (drums) Twelve years after the death of Jimmy Smith, Lucky Peterson, pays a tribute to the master of the Hammond organ.' My father brought me up on blues before I could even walk, and I played the organ before having learnt to speak.'Lucky Peterson, The precocious, classy little baby's bottle was thrown into music as soon as he was born.To this die-hard blues man, who is the guardian of the flame, he was able to add a well-chosen dose of groove. There is no doubt that it was a suitable way to honour Jimmy Smith, who was a reference in the realm of jazz soul and with whom he had exchanged in his youth. Finally this dive into history reminds us how much the hymns of the 1950's and 1960's remain incredibly sensual, enough to encourage the choir of a church to dance...
