Salif Keita Acoustic at the Carreau du Temple, Paris The 'Golden voice of Africa' was the first artist to perform at the Carreau du Temple, a 'new' Parisian venue, recently reopened after years of neglect. The inaugural concert, recorded on Friday 25 April 2014, was the perfect alliance of diverse cultures, carried by the high and powerful voice of this adoptive 'griot' - Salif Keita is a direct descendent of the Mali Empire's founder, Soundiata Keita - and a historical landmark, elegantly restored. Glass, cast iron, brick and wood have given a new life to this former market hall, whose Eiffel-style nineteenth century metallic structure is so typically Parisian. A historical venue and an artist who has freed himself from tradition and follows his own path. With Salif Keita, lyrics Aminata Danté et Bah Kouyaté, lyrics Mamadou Diabaté, Kora Souleymane Kouyaté, N'goni Guy Nwogang, drums Ousmane Kouyaté, Guitar Playlist : Katolon M'Bamba Tu vas me manquer (I miss you) Yamore Saranfino Namanamani Mandjoue kanté Coucou (Hello) Tekere Recorded at the Carreau du temple on March 2014 TV idrector, Josselin Carré

Christian McBride's New Jawn Christian McBride,leader/bass Nasheet Waits, drums Marcus Strickland, sax tenor Josh Evans, trumpet Powered by a relentless energy and a boundless love of swing, Christian McBride's path has described a continuous positive arc since his arrival on the scene. With a career now blazing into its third decade, the Philadelphia native has become one of the most requested, most recorded, and most respected figures in the music world today. His latest grouping, Christian McBride's New Jawn, is a killer unit, tight, soulful, in the pocket and in the groove. By the way, Jawn is Philly slang to describe just about everything and anything, but most importantly to understand why McBride named his new band so, it is probably this: 'Jawn' is one Philly thing New York can't lay claim to'. Recorded on July 20, 2018 at the Malta Jazz Festival TV Director, Amos Rozenberg

Kerecki's most ambitious project to date, ' Nouvelle Vague ', an homage to the movies of Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaut, Louis Malle, Jacques Demy, and the music it generated, features re-adapted works by Miles Davis, Martial Solal, Georges Delerue, Antoine Duhamel and Michel Legrand. João Bosco, lead, guitar/vocals Ricardo Silveira, guitar Guto Wirtti, bass Kiko Freitas, drums João Bosco has been loved in his home country of Brazil for decades, since the 60s when he first began composing and performing. In the early 90s, Bosco mounted a major tour of the US, and since then he has become increasingly popular internationally, regularly performing at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. Despite his growing popularity outside of his homeland, Bosco remains thoroughly attached to Brazil to the point of never leaving it for extended periods; his music, though rooted in Brazil's classic samba and bossa nova traditions, combines rock and roll, jazz and other ethnic styles in an eclectic brew that is as inventive and challenging as he is. In 2017 Bosco received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Latin Recording Academy at the 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. His new album, Mano Que Zuera, was released at the end of the year. Recorded on July 21, 2018 at the Malta Jazz Festival TV Director, Amos Rozenberg
