Keziah Jones Keziah Jones, vocal, guitar Joel Grant, bass Joshua McKenzie, percussion Keziah Jones was born into a wealthy family in 1968 in Lagos, Nigeria. He was sent to school in England at the age of 8 and he taught himself to play the piano and guitar in London. He gradually created a stunning rhythmic blend of smooth funk, Hendrix-style psychedelia, pure Ikeja reggae and Yoruba harmonies. He called it BluFunk. Keziah Jones hung out English pubs in central London before heading to Paris where he was spotted in the underground in 1991. The album Blufunk Is a Fact and the track Rhythm is Love were international hits. After venturing through the desert of the mid-90s, he struck gold in 2003 with his fourth album Black Orpheus then the unstoppable Nigerian Wood (2008). Keziah completed an ambitious double album in 2013 flitting between Los Angeles, Spain and his kingdoms in London and Lagos. The dandy fighter is well and truly back to win over his audience. Recorded on 2017, July 13th at the Jazz Festival in Vienne TV Director, Nicolas Micha

Dialogues des Carmelites Opera in three acts by by Francis Poulenc Libretto by Francis Poulenc after Georges Bernanos' play First performance in Milan, Teatro alla Scala, 26 january 1957 Kent Nagano (direction) Dmitri Tcherniakov (stage direction) Alain Vernhes (Marquis de la Force), Blanche Gritton (Blanche de la Force), Bernard Richter (Chevalier de la Force), Felicity Palmer (Madame de Croissy), Soile Isokoski (Madame Lidoine), Susanne Resmark (Mère Marie), Hélène Guilmette (Soeur Constance), Heike Grotzinger (Soeur Mathilde), Bayerisches Staatsorchester Recorded at Nationaltheater, Munich, 2010 In his 1957 opera Dialogues des Carmélites, French composer Francis Poulenc sets revolution and religion on a collision course: young Blanche de la Force, haunted from birth by panic attacks, seeks refuge in the isolation of a convent, where she hopes to overcome her torturous fear of life. Her entry into the Order of the Carmelites and her conversations with the other nuns strengthen her and her faith, but the fear remains. The French Revolution does not stop at the walls of the convent and prohibits the nuns from carrying out the rules of their order. They rise in opposition, even accepting a martyr's death rather than give in. All except Blanche - she flees again, terrified of death. The steadfastness with which the sisters face their martyrdom rescues Blanche from her anxiety. Fearlessly, she follows them to the gallows.
