Youn Sun Nah Youn Sun Nah, voice Tomek Miernowski, guitars, piano, synthesizer , programming Rémi Vihnolo, drums, double bass, electric bass, programming A decade after the release of Same Girl, recording marking the consecration in 2010 of Youn Sun Nah, she continues to assert herself as a singer resolutely not to be classified, whose all-embracing virtuoso voice can handle jazz, improvisation, opera, pop and world music. With her recent album, a polished made in-studio immersion with the complicity of her producer-arranger Clément Ducol, the Korean has produced her most personal work to date: apart from the revisiting of an eclectic repertoire from Albéniz to Michel Legrand and George Harrison, Marvin Gaye and Leonard Cohen, she leaves plenty of room for the first time for her own compositions, thus confirming a singular talent as a songwriter. An explosive cocktail, which can be taken full advantage of on stage with the complicity of Tomek Miernowski on guitars and keyboards as well as the phenomenal Rémi Vignolo, just as at ease on the drums as on the double bass. Recorded at the D'jazz Nevers on November 16, 2019 TV Director, Samuel Thiebaut

Jowee Omicil - Let's Bash Jowee Omicil, saxophone, flute, clarinet, vocals Jonathan Jurion, piano, keyboard Just Wody Cereyon, bass guitar Tilo Berthelot; drums Jowee Omicil - a multi-instrumentalist who is like no one else - was born in Montreal in 1977 between the Haitian and Quebec communities. After living within a rich New York musical fabric, he splits his life between Miami and Paris. Fed by the playing of his masters - John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Sonny Rollins, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter or Kenny Garrett - his nomad jazz mixing Creole roots to Hip-Hop, gospel, soul and world folklores renews itself according to his encounters. Regarding 'Let's Bash', his new project, it is both a war cry and a love declaration that hide a great act of faith: 'I want jazz to become popular again'! Youn Sun Nah, Festival International de Jazz de Montréal youn Sun Nah, voice Jamie Saft, piano and keyboards Clifton Hyde, guitar TBC and acoustic bass Dan Rieser, drums YSN was born and raised in Seoul in a family captivated by the voice; her father is a choir conductor and her mother is a musical actress. The year after that, she's invited by the Korean Symphony Orchestra to sing gospels. She makes her first steps on record and on stage. Following that experience, she's noticed and hired in musicals. Her appearances are rewarded and new opportunities lead her to make choices: a career is opening to her but she's not convinced to be on the right track. She finally decides to go back to school to study music and singing. Francophile, amateur of chanson, she settles down in Paris during the fall 1995. She registers at the National Institute of Music in Beauvais, at the Conservatory of Nadia and Lili Boulanger and at the CIM, school of jazz and current music. It is in that school that the epiphany happens. During 6 full seasons, her voice and her personality have impacted and touched the hearts all over the globe. About 500 concerts between 2009 and 2015, most of them sold-out, 3 albums and 2 of them gold records in France and Germany (Same girl & Lento, ACT). Throughout this time she has received many distinctions from her peers (Académie du Jazz in France, Echo Jazz in Germany, Korean Music Award in Korea) and appeared at the 2014 Winter Olympics' closing ceremony. In May 2017, YSN release a new album: She Moves On. She'll be on tour during the whole season of 2017-2018. Recorded on 2017, June 28th at the Monument National, Montreal International Jazz Festival TV Director, Mathieu Mastin
