Emile Parisien et Vincent Peirani File under Zawinul Emile Parisien, Saxophone soprano Vincent Peirani, Accordion Manu Codjia, Guitar Paco Séry,Drums Linley Marthe, Bass Mino Cinelu, Percussion Aziz Samahoui, Vocal, percussion Tony Paeleman, Fender Rhodes 2017 is the 10th anniversary of Joe Zawinul's death, the high priest of jazz keyboardists. A fitting and powerful tribute to him comes from saxophonist Emile Parisien and partner in crime Vincent Peirani on the accordion. The two Frenchmen have brought their fellow Austrian 'groove' explorers on board: Paco Sery and Linley Marthe, respectively drummer and bassist in the Zawinul Syndicate (his last group) and West Indian percussionist Mino Cinelu who performed on the last albums for the game-changing Weather Report. The idea behind the File Under Zawinul project came from saxophonist Emile Parisien's time with the Syndicate, a band formed in tribute to the Viennese pianist. Parisien met the vibrant guitarist Manu Codjia and sound architect Tony Paeleman on his Fender Rhodes at the Syndicate who are both to join File Under Zawinul. The Moroccan singer and percussionist Aziz Samahoui who performed with Joe for over 10 years will also be part of the international all-star Zawinul line-up. Recorded on 2017, July 04th at the Jazz Festival in Vienne TV Director, Fabien Raymond

LLaurent Bardainne ' Tigre d'Eau Douce ' Laurent Bardainne (Tenor saxophone ) Arnaud Roulin (Hammond organ) Sylvain Daniel (bass) Philippe Gleizes (drums) Tenor saxophonist, Laurent Bardainne is one of the most discreet and yet active musicians on the Paris scene. It is difficult not to come across him when you like jazz and its related music : we can hear him in the Supersonic by Thomas de Pourquery, alongside Camélia Jordana with Lost, with his rock group Poni Hoax, in the electro detours Sabrina & Samantha, and even at the heart of Limousine, with whom he released an excellent recording in the spring. L'Été suivant. Laurent Bardainne comes back today with this incredibly free quartet, entitled Tigre d'Eau Douce. Music which recalls Albert Ayler's Laments and John Coltrane's freeest hours, all of which is crisscrossed by ballads and soothing moments in the colours of Soul spirituality played out on the Hammond B3 organ by Arnaud Roulin. Recorded on August 29, 2019 at the Grande Halle de la Villette, Jazz à la Villette TV Director, David Unger

Pedrito Martinez Live at the Banlieues Bleues 2017 Pedrito Martinez, voice, percussions Edgar Pantoja-Aleman, voice, keyboards Alvaro Benavides, voice, bass Jhair Sala, voice, bongos The most popular Cuban percussionist in New York brings a fresh new take on latin jazz. For a long time, this drummer-and-singer, brought up on Batá drums and the Santeria cult in Havana, was an ardent sideman with Bruce Springsteen, Meshell Ndegeocello and Sting. The following years in residence at a Manhattan restaurant made him the charismatic leader of a fusion quartet. Deeply attached to the Afro-cuban dance and Yoruba prayers of his youth, Pedrito Martinez fuses them with the soul, pop and rock sounds of New York. A heady Afro-cuban mix. Recorded on 2017, march 15th as part of the 'Banlieues Bleues' , Clichy-sous-bois TV Director, Stéphane Sinde
