Penniless, 30 year-old Sandrine returns to live with her mother in Roubaix. Her uncle Henri breeds dogs and offers her a job in his kennels, which is an undercover hub for dog trafficking selling puppies from Slovenia. She rapidly asserts herself, the money she earns compensating for her lack of freedom.
