In the end, Tom and Jerry get the splinter out but not before inflicting equal doses of pain while trying a myriad of home remedies from a hot bath, to tweezers, to adhesive tape, to glue and more!

In the end, Spike loses the extra weight from chasing Tom. And when Jerry can't fit in his mouse hole because of the weight he's gained, justice is served!
